Machine Description
This robotic grinding and polishing workstation is a fully automated, integrated solution powered by a FANUC industrial robot. Specifically engineered for the surface finishing of hardware, sanitary ware, automotive parts, door handle locks, and metal accessories, it accommodates workpieces up to φ280*280 mm. The workstation seamlessly completes the entire process, from coarse belt grinding to fine cloth-wheel polishing, all in one stop.

Overall Machine Protection & Safety Design
The machine is equipped with a fully enclosed dust-proof protective cover. Safety doors and safety light curtains are installed on operation windows to provide real-time protection for operators and prevent accidental mechanical injuries.
An independent dust extraction system collects dust generated during grinding and polishing simultaneously, improving the workshop environment and meeting environmental protection requirements for hardware precision processing.
The two working units are each fitted with an independent loading station, enabling separated operation without mutual interference and facilitating workpiece loading/unloading as well as product model changeover.
Automatic Control & Core Advantages
- Flexible Machining Capacity:The 6-axis industrial robot supports repetitive programming in three-dimensional space. Equipped with contact wheels of multiple specifications, it precisely controls the abrasive belt rotating speed and automatically adjusts belt tension via PLC, and can intelligently switch contact wheels for different processes. It delivers uniform grinding and polishing on curved surfaces and edges of complex special-shaped workpieces, including faucets, door lock handles and jewelry accessories.
- Convenient Programming Operation:Two programming modes are available: manual trajectory recording via teach pendant and offline programming. Offline programming software greatly shortens programming time for new product changeovers. A dedicated grinding process module is built in; all product process programs can be stored, recalled with one click and copied across machines. The system can automatically correct coordinate offsets caused by external forces on the equipment.
- Intelligent Human-Machine Interaction:The whole machine is equipped with a touch screen for centralized setting of processing parameters and real-time display of equipment operating status. Fault codes will pop up automatically to quickly locate fault points and reduce equipment maintenance difficulty.
