Machine Description
The ZL-200-Ⅱ is a compact, spherical, rotary drop-type sand mixer designed for gravity casting or high-volume, small-scale core sand mixing. Its operating principle involves the rapid blending of silica sand, curing agents, and resins into premium foundry core sand. When processed through core-making equipment, this mixture produces high-quality sand cores featuring smooth surfaces, low gas evolution, excellent collapsibility, and high dimensional accuracy. The equipment is highly versatile and ensures the uniform mixing of resin sand, sodium silicate (water glass) sand, and cold box A/B resin sand. It is widely utilized across various casting industries, including automotive parts, valves, hardware, plumbing fixtures, faucets, and steel, iron, and aluminum foundries.
Machine Advantages
- High Production Efficiency: The mixing time per batch takes only 30 to 50 seconds, making it quick and convenient to discharge the core sand.
- Low Production Cost: Sand can be mixed on-demand based on batch size. It requires a minimal amount of resin and catalyst, ensures a uniform mix with zero dead zones, and eliminates any leftover starting or trailing sand.
- Easy Operation & Maintenance: The equipment operates at a low rotation speed with zero noise, which significantly reduces labor intensity for workers and achieves mechanized production.
